Union Education
CUPE offers a number of Union Education and Training courses on various subjects such as Stewardship, Health and Safety and Leadership. There are one and two days courses as well as week-long schools that are available in Fall/Winter and Spring sessions. Browse through the following links and see what is available.
There are also opportunities for Local 4214 to host education sessions ourselves or in combination with other locals so if there is an education session you are interested in we would love to hear from you. The costs of attending these education sessions are paid for by your local including session fees, parking, mileage, per diem and wage recovery paid to the employer. Serious inquiries in attending education sessions are welcome. Fill out the contact form below.
Education Funding
The Recruitment, Retention and Education Fund is managed by the PHCC and is available to CUPE members for the purpose of upgrading their education.
Check out the PHCC Education page for details about the fund, the criteria for funding and the application forms.
