Local 4214 is a ” New” local that has grown out of what remained of the CUPE members from the old Interlake Regional Health Authority. The remaining handful of CUPE members, all working for Diagnostic Services Manitoba, took on the task of running Local 4214 and in the past two years we have come a long way. Our voice was heard as members of the Provincial Health Care Council and DSM employees finally have a very long awaited new collective agreement. As part of that agreement, Local 4214 spent the last half of 2015 merging members from CUPE locals working in DSM sites across to the province together into one team.
