Still waiting on an arbitration ruling – there is no time limit. As soon as we hear anything the members will be informed.
Treasurers Report:
No financial report to give.
Finally off administration and Kirsten Dann received the locals’ ‘books’ tonight.
Education: Morgan, Crystal & Kirsten attended Solidarity Conference in Brandon in November. Morgan and Kirsten attended Winter School in Gimli in February. Encourage all members to get involved
Old Business:
Labour management: Scheduling in Selkirk – still have issues – with the understanding that there is a new Charge Tech at the site and she is doing her best to learn and sort out this issue. Staffing: New positions posted for Selkirk and Gimli – closing this week.
New Business:
Motion: Made by Karen Fey/ Seconded by Sherry Snedden to authorize Morgan Chagnon, Crystal Gray and Kirsten Dann to have signing authority for the bank account for CUPE Local 4214 at Noventis Credit Union (Gimli).

Notice of Motion made by Karen Fey to allow DSM employees who are presently members of Locals 4270, 1599, 1550, 4593 and 2509 to merge into local 4214.
This motion will be brought forth at the next meeting for discussion and voting by members.
Motion: Made by Amongluk Solleveld / Seconded by Karen Fey to authorize Morgan Chagnon to purchase a laptop, not to exceed $1200, for union purposes.

Motion: Made by Kirsten Dann/ Seconded by Baby Anne Santos to authorize the setting up of website for Local 4214.

Motion: Made by Karen Fey / Seconded by Sherry Snedden to approve registration for up to four members for CUPE MB education sessions to be taken before July 2015.

Notice – there is an office vacancy – Recording Secretary. This position will need to be filled ASAP. Notice of election of a new recording secretary at the next meeting.
